Land and Offshore Contract Drilling

For more than 70 years and in 53 countries, Parker has pioneered the opening of new markets to exploration and development. With a presence in key oil and gas regions throughout the world, Parker offers its customers a wide range of rigs for all types of exploration activities.

Our land drilling segment consists of 28 rigs in key international oil and gas markets. Parker is also a leading provider of offshore drilling and workover services. The company has 18 barge rigs in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, Mexico and the Caspian Sea, and is the second-largest drilling contractor in the transition zones of the Gulf of Mexico. Regardless of challenging conditions, Parker has proven ability to deliver the right rigs for its customers.

Project Management

An active part of Parker's operations is managing drilling rigs owned by third parties, often oil & gas companies, that prefer to own the rig equipment but require additional resources to operate the rig. Parker delivers innovative, efficient solutions to customers through management of critical functions including health, safety and environmental programs, engineering, human resources, technical training, purchasing, logistics, quality programs, preventive maintenance and alliance management.

Rental Tools

Quail Tools, a subsidiary of Parker Drilling, is a specialized oil tool rental company, providing equipment used in well drilling, production and workover applications. Quail offers a full line of drill pipe, drill collars, tubing, high- and low-pressure blowout preventers, choke manifolds, casing scrapers, junk and cement mills. The company serves major and independent energy companies in the Gulf of Mexico, Texas and the Rocky Mountains.
